About
I am Javier L. Prieto, a grad student in Biomedical Engineering at UC Irvine. BMETrends is my unpretentious blog to share things I find interesting in the BioTech global sphere. However, I work in a fundamentally microfluidic oriented lab so I will probably tend to write about microfluidics more than any other BioTech related field.
I will share all and everything from tips, tricks, equipment reviews, trendy subjects, books, articles, seminars, conferences… you name it. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful.
About the Photo
The image in this blog’s header was taken by my colleague and friend Shia-Yen Teh. She’s a leading expert in droplet microfluidics and as you can see a fantastic photographer.
